Meet Dr. Jocelyn Leveque – Pensacola Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Leveque has been practicing plastic and reconstructive surgery in Pensacola for over fifteen years. She is one of the founding partners of Gulf Coast Plastic Surgery located in the heart of Pensacola, Florida. She has had the distinct honor to treat patients not only from the Pensacola area, but also from all over the United States and throughout the world. As a woman, she feels that she has a unique perspective that allows her to better understand the goals, expectations, and concerns of the female patient and can empathize with the desire to restore one’s body image after pregnancy, weight loss, or cancer treatment. Dr. Leveque has performed thousands of plastic surgery procedures, specializing in aesthetic and reconstructive procedures of the breast including breast augmentation, breast lifting, breast reduction, and breast reconstruction, as well as cosmetic procedures of the body and face including abdominoplasty, liposuction, body lifting procedures post weight loss, face lifts, brow lifts, and eyelid lifts.

Dr. Leveque’s mission is to provide the highest level of quality care to the cosmetic and reconstructive patient in a relaxing, stress-free environment by a compassionate and highly skilled staff. She believes honest communication is the key to establishing a good patient/physician relationship. She enjoys listening to the patient’s concerns, providing patient care education, setting realistic goals and expectations, formulating a plan to achieve the desired results and following the patient along through their post-operative recovery. Patient safety is also a very important aspect of plastic surgery. All surgical procedures requiring general anesthesia are performed in fully accredited facilities and all minor procedures are performed in a relaxing atmosphere in the office using strict safety guidelines.

Dr. Leveque remained at the University of South Alabama Medical Center to complete a five year general surgery residency which was ranked as one of the top general surgery programs in the country. She continued performing clinical research publishing more articles in scientific journals. She was chief resident in her final year performing administrative duties for the surgery program. She was also appointed as a clinical instructor in the department of surgery and had a major role in medical student and resident education.
