This patient underwent breast reconstruction with Dr. Jocelyn Leveque. The patient came to see Dr. Leveque to talk about immediate reconstruction coordinated with mastectomies on both breasts for breast cancer treatment. The patient had also previously had radiation of the left breast. Dr. Leveque performed several stages of breast reconstruction on the patient: first, she placed tissue expanders at the same time as her mastectomy; next, after gradually filling the tissue expanders until the patient was happy with her breast size, Dr. Leveque placed shaped silicone implants; and later, she performed fat transfer to both breasts to provide symmetry. The patient is very pleased with the results from her surgeries.
