The surgeons and staff of Gulf Coast Plastic Surgery and The Skin Care Center are committed to the health and safety of all of our patients.  With that in mind, we are closely monitoring the outbreak of the coronavirus known as COVID-19.  As of now, Gulf Coast Plastic Surgery and The Skin Care Center remain open to all new and existing patients.

As part of our Covid-19 precautious, we have instituted “No waiting room waiting.”   When you arrive at our location, stay in your car, call (850) 476-3223 and press “0” when prompted.  One of our patient care coordinators will check you in via phone and call or text you when a private room is available for you.

Additional steps we are taking to ensure your health include:

Staff are screening all patients to identify those who have recently traveled and/or those who are having symptoms.

Staff members are receiving instruction and ongoing updates about COVID-19, hand hygiene and other safety measures to decrease the likelihood of contracting or transmitting the infection.

We are sanitizing all “high-touch areas” like door knobs, faucets, countertops, pens, etc.  every 15 minutes and immediately after any patients or guests enter the lobby.

Each exam room will be sanitized following each patient visit.

Protect yourself and your community:

Restrict contact with others, the recommendation is to remain at least six feet away from others.

Avoid group gatherings of more than 10 people.

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.  (Singing “Happy Birthday”  two times while washing your hands is a good way to gauge the amount of time it takes to thoroughly wash your hands.)

Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

Symptoms of COVID-19:

Sore throat

Fever

Cough

Difficulty breathing or respiratory illness

If you have any of these symptoms:

Call your primary care physician or the Florida Department of Health (866-779-6121—open 24/7) for instructions.

To limit potential exposure to other patients, please contact your doctor’s office prior to going to the office.

Tell your healthcare provider or the Florida Department of Health about any recent travel or contact with people who have traveled internationally.

The Florida Department of Health and the CDC will determine if you need to be tested for COVID-19.

Thank you in advance for your shared commitment of protecting yourself and our community.

Sincerely,

Drs. Peter Butler, Jocelyn Leveque, & Nathan Patterson, and the entire Gulf Coast Plastic Surgery & Skin Care Center Team
