This patient underwent breast reconstruction immediately following double mastectomy by her general surgeon. Dr. Leveque reconstructed the breasts by placing tissue expanders after her mastectomy. Over time, these tissue expanders were filled until the patient was pleased with her approximate size. The tissue expanders were then removed and replaced with silicone gel breast implants. A 397cc implant was placed on the left and a 371cc implant was placed in the right breast to create symmetry between the breasts. The patient is very happy with her results after her reconstructive surgeries.
