Body contouring just got easier for many people. If you’re an individual that has improved your figure with diet and exercise, but you have stubborn pockets of fat you want to target, noninvasively, Coolsculpting may be your answer.

What Is Coolsculpting?

CoolSculpting using a technology known as Cryolipolysis. This is a patented method that carefully cools treated areas, essentially freezing the fat. This treatment is not harmful to your skin or other tissue. It specifically targets fat cells. Once the fat cells are treated, they break down and are eliminated through your body’s metabolic system.

CoolSculpting is non-surgical and non-invasive, so there is no anesthesia required. The procedure is quick and easy with no downtime.

Following a Coolsculpting treatment, there may be some redness in the treated area, which usually subsides within a few hours. There is also some bruising, which will disappear within one to two weeks.

Coolsculpting is very versatile in that it can be used to effectively reduce fat pockets in many areas of the body. Everything including the back, inner and outer thighs, love handles, stomach, arms, double chin, as well as other areas, can benefit from Coolsculpting.

HOW DOES COOLSCULPTING WORK?

After your initial consultation, you should know what to expect. A protective gel is used in the treatment area. The CoolSculpting device then uses a combination of gentle suction and deep cooling to target the fat below the skin and freeze unwanted fat cells. Most treatment sessions take 45 to 60 minutes per area.

How Many Inches Can I Lose with Coolsculpting?

Patients should expect to see a 25% reduction of fat in the treated areas per Coolsculpting session. Following your treatment, you will see results appear over the next few weeks. Over the next several weeks your body will be using its natural elimination to eliminate the damaged fat cells. It is usually recommended to have at least two Coolsculpting session per area to achieve the best result.
